When can I apply for the upcoming cohort?
We will start accepting applications for the new cohort in January or February each year. For the most recent updates, please follow us on LinkedIn.
When will I hear back regarding my application?
The Review Committee will review every application that is submitted. Those who are selected to move forward in the process will be notified in late March. We will notify those selected for admission to the cohort by early May.
Is Forefront part of Marshall Goldsmith’s 100 Coaches?
No. While Forefront operates with the support of 100 Coaches and many 100 Coaches members are involved in Forefront, Forefront is not a part of 100 Coaches. Admission into Forefront does not imply future admission into 100 Coaches. 100 Coaches is currently closed to new members.
How long is the program?
The program is roughly nine months long, typically starting in early summer and ending with a live event in mid-spring.
What do I need to do to apply?
The process will require an investment of time and thought, particularly in the creation of your portfolio.
Can I choose my mentor?
Once we know who the cohort is, we will look at your areas of expertise, where you are looking to improve and assign a volunteer mentor from 100 Coaches who will be a good fit. Unfortunately not all 100 Coaches will be available for mentorship.
How much does it cost? Is there an application fee?
There is no cost to apply or join the program. Participants will be responsible for their own travel and accommodation expenses for the live event at the conclusion of the program.
I’m not a coach (but want to be one), can I still apply?
Everyone is welcome to apply, but note that we are seeking those with a record of impact from their work in coaching or talent development. You don’t need to be certified, but if you don’t currently work in these fields or have references who can speak to your impact in their leadership/talent development, it is recommended to apply for a later cohort.
How much time will be required?
There will be weekly and monthly commitments for various meetings - checking in on goals, meeting with mentors, as well as some masterclasses. We will also end the year with a live event to celebrate the efforts of the cohort. Participants are expected to make an effort to join every event in order to get the most from this program.
